Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford will make his long-awaited return from injury at Leicester City.
England forward hasn’t played a competitive match since the Euro 2020 final against Italy due to a shoulder injury.
Rashford has been working his way back to fitness and scored in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackburn Rovers last week.
Rashford will definitely be part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad at the King Power Stadium, and our colleagues at the Manchester Evening News believe he will be thrown straight into the starting line-up against the Foxes.
Reporters Dominic Booth, Rich Fay and Tyrone Marshall have predicted their United front four for the game, and all involve Rashford.
Unsurprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes are both selected too while the remaining position is between Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho.
That would mean places on the bench for Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial, plus Sancho or Greenwood.
Dominic Booth: Fernandes; Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo.
Rich Fay: Fernandes; Greenwood, Rashford, Ronaldo.
Tyrone Marshall: Fernandes; Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo.
